E.L.V. DENIM stands for East London Vintage Denim, as all products are designed and produced in East London. All products are upcycled from unwanted post-consumer waste denim, helping to protect the environment for future generations and ensuring a zero-waste policy. E.L.V. DENIM works with local East London ateliers with a proven social sustainability policy Produced locally, E.L.V. DENIM pieces have a minimal carbon footprint and support local communities. It takes 10,000 litres of water to make a new pair of jeans – this is the same amount of water that one person drinks in 13 years. At E.L.V. DENIM we only use 7 litres to wash the post-consumer denim waste. E.L.V. DENIM is gender-neutral and is meant to be shared, loved and worn.
