About

Butter Pat Industries is a design-oriented manufacturer of cast iron cookware that believes beauty can still be part of utility. Our designs are inspired by historic sources but enabled by new technologies. We are foundrymen and designers, artists and engineers in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

We hand-cast in limited quantities using our own innovative foundry process. We believe we make smoother and lighter cast iron cookware that will last for generations.

We love the elegant design and beautiful (non-black) cast iron pans that Butter Pat crafts using techniques from foundry engineering manuals used in the 1800s to make 'thin-wall cookware'.  We also love their 100 year warranty - this cookware is made to last!
